Lehigh ADVANCE formed a Lehigh University “Women in Science and Engineering, WISE” group in Spring 2011. LU-WISE+ aims to build community for faculty of all genders by creating a friendly atmosphere to enable participants to learn about one another and to participate in formal and informal dialogue on various issues. From networking, to peer mentoring, to professional skill development, to scholarship, join us to support connections, career advancement, and professional growth.
The LU-WISE+ Lunch Series builds community by cultivating a friendly atmosphere to enable participants to learn about women scientists’ and engineers’ research areas of interest and to participate in informal dialogue and exploration of new ideas while reducing isolation. Lehigh ADVANCE typically hosts LU-WISE luncheons monthly.
