Dr. Emily Janke joins us for education, facilitated dialogues, and a "What If" workshop to promote progress and possibilities which strengthen faculty evaluation and practice of Community Engaged scholarly work.

This visit compliments work-in-progress at Lehigh by spotlighting contemporary understanding and opportunities to support infrastructure and policies for community engaged scholarship to thrive, with a particular emphasis on the faculty recognition and reward system.

1:00Navigating as a CE Scholar Small Group 1Calling CE scholars and practitioners, especially pre-tenure faculty. In each session, topics can include exploring how to prepare your faculty dossier for review (tenure or promotion), thriving in contexts where CE is not fully embedded in guidelines. How do you describe your impact to a diverse audience? Bring your questions and ideas.

10:00-12:00What if? Workshop This workshop is geared towards faculty and thought leaders involved in creating and revising guidelines and frameworks for evaluating CE scholarship and teaching. The session will give time and space to draft and craft. Faculty, senators, members of the Working Group, directors and leaders of groups and/or centers that prioritize CE and/or translational research, department chairs, etc. are all welcome to improve how CE and is reflected in our evaluation and rewards (RPT Guidelines).
