Each year, Lehigh's newest faculty attend a multi-day New Faculty Orientation. Numerous campus offices share useful information about how to get started and where a new faculty member can go to get their questions answered.  It's also the first time all the newest members of our faculty can meet eachother. The 21-22 Orientation also welcomes the colleagues who started in 20-21.  The sessions feature important Human Resources functions like benefits, important legal aspects of joining the faculty are covered by General Counsel, and new colleagues hear directly from our Library and Technology services team, about the Offiice of Research functions, and also from the Dean of Students, to name a few. Here's a link to the ADVANCE presentation for August 16, 2021, emphasizing the ways a newer faculty member might engage with ADVANCE programming and resources.
