Click to Apply: Call for Summer 2026 NCFDD Faculty Success Program Due March 1, 2026.

The NCFDD Faculty Success Program (FSP) is a multi-week, online (combining synchronous and asynchronous work) program that helps faculty with the skills necessary to increase research and writing productivity while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Over 65 Lehigh faculty members have participated in the FSP and have found it extremely useful.

Summer 2026 Session Dates: May 18 - July 26, 2026

As in previous years, the Provost's office will pay the full registration fee for a limited number of (up to 5) faculty members to participate in the FSP. This application asks interested faculty to complete one-paragraph descriptions of current roadblocks motivating your application and what impact you hope to realize on your career by participating with the FSP program. Please be specific. Apply by March 1 so we can complete the review, selection, confirmation and registration of Lehigh colleagues with the priority registration discount. Faculty members who are selected for support must confirm so they can be registered as a group by the March 6, 2026 priority enrollment deadline. Lehigh Testimonials:

"I just got promoted from associate professor to (full) professor at the end of spring, and I attribute a lot of that success to what I learned as part of FSP during summer of (three years prior). I only wish I had had such a program earlier on in my life as a tenure-track faculty member."

"I just wanted to say a big thank you for the opportunity to take part in the NCFDD Faculty Success Program. It was exactly what I needed at this stage in my career. I got so much out of it and am excited to keep the momentum going through the alumni program!"

"I am not being dramatic when I say FSP transformed the way I write--although of course I still have good days and bad days (and, inevitably, make way too ambitious of a strategic plan at the beginning of the semester and have to scale back), I am more productive using the daily writing technique."

"NCFDD has been helpful for me both when I have time for my writing and research, and when getting any writing done seems absolutely impossible. I love the Write Now software and groups when I have time for that regular work and it's helpful for me to share what I'm working on. ... The strategic planning session and the weekly meeting session have been game changers for me."

"The Faculty Success Program was an excellent way to develop a set of tools to identify your career and life goals and make the decisions needed to achieve them. This was possible thanks to the group meetings and the supervision of outstanding mentors who guide us through all the different activities and kept us accountable. This experience was really transformative and I hope to continue with the good working habits developed during this session."
